Chuggle’s Dog Walking, LLC was established in August of 2026. However, the owner has been working professionally with dogs and cats for over 14 years, since May of 2012!

Meet Sara Tibbets of Standish, Maine. She is the owner and sole employee of Chuggle’s Dog Walking, and lifelong lover of all animals. Her career started in Portland, Maine working at a dog daycare that also offered dog walking and cat visits. Over the years, Sara explored a variety of different positions including play-yard supervisor, Assistant Manager of the secondary daycare location, Dog Walking Coordinator, a dog training program mentee, and Dog Walking Manager. She knew from her first week working with dogs and cats that she had found her perfect career.

Sara grew up in the California Bay Area with a myriad of pets over the years including dogs, cats, fish, a turtle, a bunny, a pair of parakeets, a cockatoo, and a parrot. She moved to Maine with her family before college to be closer to extended family. Sara received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art in 2009 from University of Maine, Orono and often uses her creativity for crafty hobbies. Some of her other hobbies include reading, gardening, and making beaded tree charms with her nephew.

Sara has three pets: one dog, an 8.5 year old chug (chihuahua pug mix) named Odie, and two young cats named Solstice (2.5 years old) and Nova (1 year old). Her previous dog was a puggle (pug beagle mix) named Andre, who lived to be nearly 16 years old and was the first dog she could call her own. Sara’s pets have been adopted from shelters, rehoming situations, or rescues. In dedication to Andre and Odie, Chuggle’s was named after them by combining their mixed breeds together:
Chug + Puggle = Chuggle.
